Tara II is a brief interlude, and is markedly delicate compared with the other tracks. “I wrote the song on my birthday, after watching the Bob Dylan special, Shadow Kingdom.” says Dana. “There were a few great songs that seemed strategically unrehearsed. As the band attempted to follow his lead, there were these beautiful moments that left them trailing behind… I knew I wanted to write a song that felt like that.” The name Tara II is to set up a full-length edition of the song, still in production.
